About Me

My name’s Jake, and I’m a photographer/videographer based out of Detroit, Michigan. I’m a Michigan State University Alumni, born and raised in Michigan, but moved to New York after college.
I spent 8 years in NYC as a creator. In 2023 I moved back to Michigan, where I am now a photography instructor in Detroit, as well as a freelance creative.

As a driven creator, I spend much of my free time capturing: the streets of Detroit, the mountains of the National Parks, and everything else in between. I don’t mind getting dirty to get a good shot. Getting to capture a perspective to reflect on and share is always worth a little sweat and dirt.
